story competition
The
challenge was to write a story that involves Lara Croft and Natla, the Atlantean
character from the original Tomb Raider game. The story had to be about 10,000
words in length.

of which "An Eye for an Eye" was the winner.
The
judges for the competition were White Dove (of Natla’s Vault),
Tim Radley, Agnes Heyer and Ostercy.
The
closing date for entries was 22nd June (Natla’s birthday) 2002
and some of the entries used to be archived at the Croft Codex and can now be found at fanfiction.net
Both established and new authors
were encouraged to take part.
No concession was given for
age or nationality.
Core
(designers of the Tomb Raider games) generously supplied
"a
game, a cardboard cut out and some other merchandise such as a bag /pencil
case/toiletries"
to the winner, Dr. Amazing.
